Portuguese interpreter

Any mode that requires travel from Canada Wanter (SE16) to a specific location.

Typical services provided include (but are not limited to):

• Consecutive interpreting

• Whispered interpreting: ideal for small meetings when more than one party uses English and the Portuguese speaker (or vice-versa) needs side conversations to be translated in real-time.

• Simultaneous interpreting: ideal mode when the event is larger or room is larger. This requires the provision of equipment.

• Sight translations: I may read documents using the target language without the need for a Portuguese or English written translation.

Remote interpreting consists of any mode that does not require travel.

I may assist you with Portuguese and English interpreting via telephone, Zoom, Whatsapp, Facetime, CVP, Teams, or any platform of your choice. Typical services provided include (but are not limited to):

• Consecutive interpreting.

• RSI: Simultaneous interpreting.

• Sight translations (quite useful!): I may read documents using the target language without the need for a Portuguese or English written translation. This is ideal if a document needs to be discussed/served immediately.

Consecutive, simultaneous and whispered interpreting services provided in a range of contexts both face-to-face (with travel usually starting from Bermondsey SE1) or remotely (CVP, Zoom, Teams, Googlemeet, etc…).

Rates compatible with Legal Aid.
